About 1992 Yamaha OX99-11
1992 Yamaha OX99-11:
Yamaha decided to capitalize on its new F1 engine program by creating a supercar in the late 1980s, when Japan was riding the crest of a wave. The 3.5-liter V12 engine produced 294kW at 10,000 rpm, and the two seats were lined up behind each other. After only three of the hammerhead sharks on wheels were created, the Japanese economy plummeted, and the project was shelved.
