About 2018 Aston Martin DB11 AMR
2018 Aston Martin DB11 AMR:
It's the ultimate in British motoring craftsmanship. The Aston Martin DB11 results from years of refinement from a legendary brand that was so good that it was the vehicle of choice for a certain British spy. Best of all, the new Aston Martin DB11 is on sale today at Aston Martin Chicago.
The Aston Martin is a 2+2 sports supercar that is offered as both a coupe and convertible known as the DB11 Volante. It is powered by twin-turbo V12, which is part of the AMR racing package and makes 630 horsepower and 516 lb-ft of torque. Car uses 8-speed automatic transmission that shifts so quickly that it feels like a dual-clutch transmission. The transmission is shifted by steering-wheel-mounted paddle-shift levers so you can channel your inner Aston Martin Formula 1 pilot.
The DB in the Aston Martin model name stands for David Brown, who purchased the company in 1947. Brown was a successful engineer and entrepreneur, and through his family's transmission company, built tractors through the David Brown Tractor company. But in addition to engineering, he was a keen racing enthusiast.
