2020 Mercedes-AMG GT Black Series:
Alltough it appeared only five times before and first appeared on a Mercedez SLK, don't let detract you from what it stands for. A Black Series is lighter, faster and harder as the standard series, but somehow very much of its own car.
AMG has added another 160bhp to the engine and the only rival they speak about is the Porsche 911 GT2 RS. Still a 4.0-litre twin turbo V8, but now updated that it uses a flat-plane crankshaft instead of a cross-plane. They have achieved more power by fitting the turbos from the AMG GT 4dr, which have an 18 per cent higher maximum flow rate than the GT R’s.
