1992 Vector Avtech WX-3:
The Avtech WX-3 concept was created as a potential successor to Vector's W8 supercar in 1992, along with a convertible version, the WX-3R. Styling was similar to the production W8, with the interior featuring three abreast seating (which was an option for export models). There was talk of a bespoke 7 litre twin-turbo V8 with over 1000bhp, that would propel the Vector to a projected top speed of 240mph - an astouding claim back in 1992.
Alas the three concept vehicles that were made never saw production, following a hostile takeover of Vector by the Megatech company and a protracted legal wrangle with founder Gerald Wiegert.
